Overview

The Oxalis Ex Spk 5 loudspeakers are suitable for Zone 1 & Zone 2 applications. Ideally suited for use with the Oxalis Sonix Communications systems.
The range features enclosures manufactured from corrosion proof, marine grade copper free LM6 aluminium which is phosphate and powder coated. The re-entrant flare horns are high impact, fire retardant ABS. All models have two M20 cable entries, large termination areas containing in & out terminals (Ex de version only) and an ingress protection of IP66/67 (Ex d) and IP66 (Ex de). An independent test report is available on request, or online, detailing the performance of the loudspeaker range.
The Sonix Ex Spk 5 can also be supplied with an Ex EOL 1 device to provide end of line monitoring with the 350-d / 700-d amplifiers. This provides full line monitoring when using non looped loudspeaker cable structure.
All Sonix loudspeakers can be provided as a single component or with a comprehensive range of cable tails, glands and mounting brackets to provide speedy installation on site. When combined with an Oxalis Ex enclosure and cable tail remote speaker tapping is achievable via the locally mounted junction box. Please contact Oxalis for further details on this service.
